Lu Discover is the founder and editor-in-chief of aliencpa, an independent magazine about affiliate marketing and paid traffic. A former UX designer who built apps for pilots, she has worked in affiliate marketing since 2016 as an editor and media buyer in nutra and dating.

Lu Discover started out in 2009 learning HTML and CSS and spent the next years as a UX designer, working on apps for pilots, restaurant management software and crypto mining tools.

In 2016 she moved into affiliate marketing, buying traffic on nutra and dating offers and writing about the industry. In 2017 she launched aliencpa as a calendar of affiliate conferences. Today it is an independent magazine about affiliate marketing and paid traffic, where the team tests networks and tools firsthand before publishing a verdict.

She writes about how affiliate money actually moves, and about the gap between the industry’s public success stories and the everyday reality of the job.

She spent her first year convinced she understood how the money moved, until a webmaster showed her a working funnel and proved otherwise. In 2017 she launched aliencpa as a calendar of affiliate conferences. It has since grown into a magazine where the team signs up, sets up tracking and goes through the payout process before publishing a verdict.
